Dear Patrons and friends

On the 7 th of November at Penzance Pirates Rugby Club we held a party for Marion who has been with the choir as pianist for 50 years, the choir sang 5 pieces of music, also 2 games of bingo which was a bit of fun, and our wives laid on a very nice spread of food and a very good evening was had by all.

Marion donated a new organ to the choir which was extremely nice of her, the organ was played for the first time at Marions party when we sang.

We presented Marion with an Irish crystal clock which was one of the last to be made in Irland before the production was transferred toAmerica and Horton made a speech about Marions time with the choir.

We are getting near Christmas time again, and the choir will out singing at Zenor on Sunday 6 th December this will be a concert of carols and other music, Ken Northey our president will be the MD for this evening.

Sunday 13th December the choir will be at the Queens Hotel for Christmas Social Evening with choir singing and our Christmas Raffle Draw it starts at 8pm we hope to see you all there.

Sunday 20 th the choir will be giving their Christmas concert at Newlyn Trinity Centre with the Pendeen band at 7-30pm.

On the 21 st December we will be giving 2 short concerts one at Chypons Residential Home Newlyn about 7-30pm and one at Newlyn Royal British legion, about 830 pm then I think we are all finished until the new year when we will be starting to learn some new music for 2010.

All it remains for me to say is have a Merry Christmas and a Good New Year.
